The Live interface offers two main views – Session View and Arrangement View, which interact with each other in a unique way, allowing the creation, production and execution of music in one application.
Session View is a place focused primarily on the big improvisation and confronting your ideas with reality. Each cell can contain an audio or MIDI file or any musical idea. These ideas can be saved on the fly or dragged from the browser and played in any order.
Arrangement View is in turn an environment similar to traditional multi-track software, with audio recording, MIDI and other tools. Any ideas created in Session View will be saved for further processing.
How to install:
- First of all, Download the Ableton Live 10 - Mac/Win
